Chitosan azelaic acid is used in freckle-removing skin care cosmetics. It not only has the effect of azelaic acid such as bacteriostasis and elimination of melanin and acne, but also has the biocompatibility and film-forming properties of chitosan, which inhibits bacteria and molds, and restrains the activity of melanin forming enzymes. This product is superior to other freckle-removing skin care cosmetics in the following aspects: high effective content of azelaic acid up to 4% of the total weight, its advantages in antibacterial, freckle-removing, anti-acne, whitening, moisturizing and anti-wrinkle, and no adverse side effects as a cosmetic or cosmetic raw material.
