N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, as a new type of biochemical drug, is the component unit of multiple polysaccharides in the organism. It boasts a variety of functions, such as clinically strengthening the function of human immune system, inhibiting the excessive growth of cancer cells or fibroblasts, and effectively treating various inflammations such as rheumatoid and rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and joint pain. It can also be used as food antioxidants, food additives for infants and young children, and sweeteners for diabetic patients.
